Rates, Tariffs, and Occupancy
Check-In: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Occupancy: Each room will accommodate a maximum of 2 guests.
Tariffs: Based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. Coastal Maine sales tax will be added. Tariff includes full gourmet breakfasts.
Reservations require a 50% deposit on multiple night bookings if the reservation is made more than 14 days in advance of arrival date. Single night bookings are paid in full at time of reservation.
All reservations made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will be charged in full at time of reservation.
During peak season weekends (July to Mid-Oct), holidays, and special events, there is a two night minimum reservation required. Please call or email us to check our availability, sometimes we have rooms available for one night stays during these time frames.
Cancellation or Changes
Please Note: All cancellations must be done by phone.
Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. We strongly advise you to buy travel insurance to protect yourself in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance can be purchased through insuremytrip.com.
If you must cancel or shorten the length of your reservation, you will receive a refund, minus a $35 processing fee per room, but only if we are notified at least 14 days in advance of your scheduled arrival date.
If your reservation is 30 nights or more, you must cancel at least 30 days in advance of your arrival date for a deposit refund, minus our $35 cancellation fee.
To avoid the $35 processing fee, we can issue a credit on account for the deposit (if canceled 14 days prior to arrival date). This option is only available if you booked through The Jeweled Turret Inn directly (online or over the phone). We cannot provide this option to those that booked through a third-party site.
All reservations canceled less than 14 days prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit unless we can re-book your entire reservation.
In the unlikely event that you must check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your room(s), a full or partial refund may be issued less applicable processing fees.
Group events have a different cancellation policy: weddings, special classes, bicycle tours, conferences, etc. These require a 30-day cancellation prior to arrival date, which will be noted in your confirmation letter.
As an historic building located in an historic district, the Jeweled Turret has limited accessibility for guests with mobility concerns. Please take careful note of these potential hurdles:
Access to all exterior doors require climbing several outdoor steps.
We have 2 first floor guest rooms, but the other 5 rooms require use of a staircase. There is no elevator in the home.
Bathrooms are not handicap designed. Some baths do have walk-in showers, but without wall handles.
Smoking and Pets
There is no smoking or vaping inside the Inn or on the verandas. If a guest or his or her invitee does not comply with this policy, the guest will be charged a room recovery fee of $100 per room to restore the affected room to a smoke-free condition.
For fire safety reasons, no candles, incense, or any other type of incendiary device are permitted in guest rooms.
Sorry, but pets are not permitted. We are happy to assist by referring a local kennel.
Please note we do not have televisions in our guest rooms. There is a flat screen TV available in one common room, the “Den”. Our guests traveling with a tablet or laptop computer may use the inn’s free WIFI to keep up with the news, stream movies, and other entertainment.
